Offical Contest Rules

1. Journalism, mass communications, and science students are invited to attend Biotech University and participate in the reporting contest.  Graduate and undergraduate students at the Cronkite School of Journalism and other Southwestern colleges have been invited to participate.

2. Because a significant amount of background information will be provided and authoritative sources will be speaking, students are strongly encouraged to attend Biotech University.  However, attendance at the seminar is not mandatory for students who wish to enter the reporting contest.

3. Participants can enter the reporting contest by submitting an official entry form with an article or report on biotechnology.  The entry form can be found at www.biotech-university.com

5. Entry deadline: 12:01 a.m., Monday, April 30, 2012.

6. Entries can be emailed to adamv@communiqueinc.com.  Large files or video submissions should be put on disk and mailed to: Adam Veile, P.O. Box 237, Jefferson City, MO 65102.
